About us

Cotswold Equestrian is a long established horse rug washing and repair business owned by Lucy Riley originally started by my mother and based at Northleach Saddlery. Then taken over by myself slowly and fully starting under the new name of Cotswold Equestrian in 2010.  

I’ve ridden since I was a little girl and have been lucky to own horses most of my life. Growing up on a farm we got to play ponies a slightly feral way galloping around fields and herding cows. I then in my 20’s got my first horse and the love for competing and eventing stuck. I’ve had some incredible times and have competed at grassroots level at some amazing venues including Badminton and Blenheim.
A break in competition over the last few years while starting my family but the enjoyment of hacking out with my family on my homebred has continued.
